
Jeanine Oburchay
Jeanine is the Assistant Coach for Next Generation Diving. Jeanine has been
with Next Generation since shortly after its inception in 2005. Jeanine has
also been the head diving coach for the Weston High School girls team since
2005, where she developed one All-American Diver, and five All-State Divers.
Since her arrival at Weston, Weston diving is undefeated at SWC
Championships and at Class S State Championships. While at Weston, Jeanine coached Christina Brasco (also a member of Next Generation Diving), who haswon SWC Championships two years in a row, and in 2008 broke the SWC Championship record. Under Jeanine's coaching, Christina also broke both the Weston 6-dive record and the 11-dive record. In 2006 and 2008, Jeanine was named Girl's Diving Coach of the Year by the Connecticut State High School Swimming Officials Association.
Since 2006, Jeanine has also coached Fairfield College Preparatory School,
where she has been responsible for the development of two All-State Divers.
At Prep, Jeanine also coaches Tyler Pramer (also a member of Next Generation Diving), who in 2008 achieved High School All-American status from theNational Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association.
Jeanine is also the coach at The Patterson Club, a member of the Fairfield
County Swimming League.
In addition to coaching diving, Jeanine is a certified Anusara-Inspired Yoga
Instructor and Thai Yoga Bodyworker. |
